		<description>I'm seeing quite a few hits to this page from people trying to find out if it is a hoax.  I also did some searching before I posted the story, and I don't see any evidence that it is a hoax.  
The story is always attributed to Eddie Ogden, and that implies a certain amount of authenticity (though it would be easy enough to fake).  There are no instructions to pass it on, so it's not a chain letter.
Whether it is actually true or not is open to debate, but the story is still inspirational, and it doesn't generally fall into the normal spam categories.</description>
